Heroes of Might and Magic

The Might & Magic Heroes series is a beloved franchise of video games that originated with Jon Van Caneghem's New World Computing in 1995. Over the years, the series has undergone changes in ownership, with 3DO acquiring NWC and later selling the rights to Ubisoft when it closed down. The games feature turn-based fantasy conflicts where players command armies of mythical creatures. With seven installments, the most recent being Might & Magic Heroes VII released on September 29, 2015, the series has captivated audiences worldwide. After New World Computing ceased operations following Heroes of Might and Magic IV, Ubisoft took over ownership and Nival Interactive developed Heroes of Might and Magic V, while Black Hole Entertainment handled Heroes VI, with Limbic Entertainment contributing to its DLC and sequel, Heroes VII.
