Description:
Winnie-the-Pooh, also known as Pooh Bear, is a beloved fictional character created by English author A. A. Milne. The first collection of stories about the teddy bear was published in 1926's "Winnie-the-Pooh", followed by "The House at Pooh Corner" in 1928. The character also made appearances in poems within "When We Were Very Young" (1924) and "Now We Are Six" (1927), both illustrated by E. H. Shepard. The stories have been translated into numerous languages, including Alexander Lenard's Latin translation, "Winnie ille Pu", which became the only Latin book to feature on The New York Times Best Seller list in 1960.
